I walk with women on the sovereign path. 

I've attended over 190 births and worked with about 250 families total for all things pregnancy, birth, and parenting.

This path comes to me after decades of working under the medical-techno-governmental system.  

ABOUT THE SOVEREIGN BIRTH PATH

1-We begin with the Truth that all women carry the ancestral memory of how to birth and mother undisturbed. 

2-The pregnant/birthing woman is centered as the fully capable woman that she actually is. 

3-The pregnant/birthing woman chooses her own support people or births solo. 

4-Mother and baby stay as One through baby's birth and for baby's transition earthside.

5-When I'm at a birth, I'm present as an experienced and intuitive birth witness.

6-I serve women postpartum according to the woman's desires.

7-If a woman switches to the medical system it's because she chose to do so from 100% self agency.

Any woman may walk the sovereign path.

On the sovereign path women birth freely, rebirth themselves, and mother in wholeness.  

On the sovereign path the newborn begins her/his life as a divine and natural being. 

In the sovereign way we heal, re-write family story, and offer this vibration of wholeness and mother-wit to the world.

We're generations deep in instinct injury* from submission to the medical-governmental system, which is premised on physical, psychological, and spiritual control over women and families. That's why sovereignty is a new reality here.                                     

INFO ABOUT ME

I'm a radical birthkeeper by Free Birth Society, credentialed by Whapio's Matrona for Holistic Midwifery, and currently taking the first round of Matribirth Midwifery Institute. I'm also taking the Sovereign Practitioner course from Qiddist Ashe.

Most of all I learn from my clients. Actually, I learn from clients every day.

Other sources/people I've learned from:  My ancestors, especially my mom, and my main spirit guide grandmother Ann Keune Girard, my own children, friends, all kinds of people, Mother Earth, books, meditations, witnessing, my own epiphanies, AND Breech without Borders/Breech 101, Blood Mysteries with Nancy Lucina and Kristin Hauser, Innate postpartum with Rachelle Garcia, Karen Strange, hands-on breech workshop with Dr. Stu, review of Whapio and RBK courses, and more.

I'm deep in everything midwifery/birth as shared by Oni Lee Logan, Anne Frye,  Sister Morning Star, Susun Weed, Talise Homebirth Queen, Heather Baker, Jennifer Block, all kinds of birth stories, and more. 

I follow Yolande Clark, Free Birth Society, Whapio's Matrona, Indie Birth, Sara Wickham, Kemi Joy, and many local people.

I explore/learn daily such as in-depth connections with my clients, birth-workers, friends, family and Mother Earth. 

I'm a mother, friend, wife, earth-worshipper, river walker, yogi, reiki practitioner, and a woman rich with life experiences. 

My default is to be outside. 

I'm deep in gratitude.

I'm not a medical provider, nor am I in the process of becoming one. I'm not accountable to any medical regulations or to any medical providers. I'm not licensed by the state.

PRIOR TO WALKING AS A MIDWIFE.                                       

I worked 24 years in the medical paradigm: 18 years in cardiology and six years as a doula. I've had many in-system certificates, degrees, credentials, and  jobs such as cardiac ultrasound tech, basic life support, CPR, certified doula from three organizations,  B.A. in Government, hypno-doula, lactation support certified, CBE certified, Spinning Babies x 2, yoga instructor, paralegal, and more.  

  * Sister Morning Star, to my knowledge, coined the phrase "instinct injury."
